    The organizer asked for color as light, the kind a slow shutter catches at night. No city postcard, no statues: the neon of passing cars, shop signs and the sunset sky. That became the palette of the official tee and singlet.

    Three days of pre-sale and two days at the expo did it; the leftovers and the finisher cotton were gone within a month. The official tees sold out, with key sizes gone by the end of expo day two.

    The limited capsule went the other way: retro graphics mixed with the architecture of Saint Petersburg, plaster stucco, the wrought-iron fences of the embankments, the Alexander Column. Neutral Pantones against the official neon, race data as micro type, one line on everything: Losing track of time.
